Day #8 Tokyo - Narita Airport - Singapore

It's finally the day to fly back home! We woke up earlier as planned and decided to walk around to see what's around this ulu hotel we were staying in. We went to the supermarket nearby and checked out what they had.

After venturing around, hubby was feeling hungry. We chanced upon this curry rice store (CocoICHI) and decided to give it a try. It was pretty interesting as you can choose the level of spiciness for their dishes. As i wasn't very hungry, I only ordered salad while Hubby ordered the chicken katsu curry rice to try. The food was not too bad! And it was their 30th anniversary and we were given a small handkerchief as their anniversary gift too!

We made our way back to the hotel to meet Steven, Samantha and Aaron to travel to the airport together. We took the Narita Express which was about 1.5 hours journey to the airport. The train was rather empty when we took it so we had the luxury to choose our seats freely.

Our departure flight JL 711 NRT/SIN set off promptly at 1815 and we reached Singapore around 1am.
Overall, the trip was enjoyable if not for the heat in Japan. It's a bad idea to be travelling there in August and we'll bear that in mind! :)
